Heading south to winter

Without a camper and time ticking we needed to head south quickly. Through Slim Dusty's birthplace, Kempsey and the big banana place, Coff's Harbour.

We did have to stop and buy bananas and mandarine oranges. When they grow all around you it is hard not to. The scenery is beautiful mountains and green grass, we even saw deer! we crossed many bridges and these rivers did have plenty of water.

We stayed overnight in a little town called Taree and woke up to Cockatoos tossing down pecans. Boy did we get a surprise when we stepped outside, it was freezing!!
