Wow I can't belive I got out of that!!! (Adam)

Well the journey from Middelfart to Berlin proved to be alot more adventurous than I could have ever hoped for... or feared haha.  Alright well I got up bright and early this morning to catch a train from Francia, Denmark to Padborg, which is right on the the border of Germany and Denmark, at 6:24 am.  Ras and his uncle gave me a ride to the station and I bid them farewell for a little while at least (hurry up ras)!!  Anyways the plan was to transfer at Padborg to Hamburg then from Hamburg to Berlin but it didn't quite work out that way.  Before got off the train at Padborg the conductor made a pretty long announcement but I had no idea what he was saying due to the fact it was in German.  But when I got off the train and waiting for a little while I realised that I was effed and my train obvously wasn't coming.  So I wandered around a little bit a found a group of swiss people and a couple germans that I reconised from the train ride there.  So i asked them what the heck was going on... Apparently the long message on the train was that for no reason they had decided to not run the train I was taking at all today but instead there would be a bus coming and driving us to the station.  But according to my new friends the bus never showed up either and they were in a huge rush.  Because they had no other choice they called a cab for themselves and it was then I realised I was oging to be alone and screwed haha.  But fortuneatly when the cab showed up it was a van with 7 seats and I was able to go along with them!  We ended up at this tiny station in germany and I was able to buy ticket to Berlin.  They're was obviously someone watching over me today haha and they saved my butt!  Once I got to the Berlin train station I was completely overwhelmed... It's massive!!! Like 7 floors of pure organised choas... stores everywhere and everything.  I mean damn it had more shopping than orchard park!  But I was on a mission! I had to pee so bad! but was serverely dissapointed when I learned you need to pay a euro to use the washrooms here! Thanks again for the euro's Dode you saved my bladder this time!  Anyways I finally found the info booth in this mecca and got a map with three hostels on it.  I figured it should be easy enough but I got caught staring at the beauty of this city and ended up totally lost!  So I wandered around looking for the streets that I was told some hostels were on and pretty much walked right in the door of the hostel by accident! Pure luck again haha what a day! Anyways I havent had much of a chance to look around the town but the arcitecture here is breath taking! I cna't wait to wander around again tomorrow! hopfuly with some new friends!
