Today was the last day of our Italy tour. We briefly stopped in Ravenna to look at a couple of churches but primarily our day was focused on getting to Venice with enough daylight to take in the city. We arrived outside Venice by bus and took a train in. No cars of any sort are allowed in Venice so its all foot traffic. The streets are really waterways with high sidewalks. We were starving by the time we arrived. Emily, Josh, Sara, Crystal, and I ate at a nice place on the water. The sun was setting and the sights were absolutely beautiful. Venice is well know for its Murano glass. I bought a glass ring that wraps around my finger. After a few hours we got on a ferry to a nearby town to find our hotel. It was tricky business figuring out how we were going to get to the airport at 7 am for our flights to Rome.
