Iguacu falls. Apparently the biggest in the world if you belive the tourist bits. Wider than the Niagra falls, and wih more water than Angel falls. It was awe inpiring the amount of water that was coming down off the rocks.
We started on the Argentinian side of the falls, which lie on the border of Argentina and Brazil, where most of the falls are. There are walkways across the top of the falls, and the view and the noise was great. We went on a boat that went into the spray of one of the waterfalls, and got wet. And finished the day over the largest fall, the devil´s throat, where the mass of water moving past us was just. Well. A lot.

The next day we went to the Brazilian side to have a look, and you get a view of all the falls together. Far more picturesque, but you don´t get the same sense of power and magesty as on the other side. There wasn´t really enough to keep us busy for the whole day, so we went off to see the largest power station in the world after that. Generating huge amounts of power, supplying 90% of Paraguay´s power, and 25% of Brazil´s. It looked like a large dam to me... but it was impressive, especially driving over it.

This was also the first time that we´d really cooked for ourselves in 3 months. And although it was cheaper... it is something that we should practise more! There is a point where we could see the three countries, Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, each marked by a strange obelisk thing, and a whole bunch of insects.
