check under author info for our new itenerary (just added a little south america and central america...so now no one has any reason not to meet us along the way as costa rica is like 4 hour flight for example).
hello from feteythe- pronounced fetty-ay...huh???
we are about to board a 4 day yacht cruise on the sweet old wooden sail boats
it is 3 nights and i guess we go to secluded bays and nice beaches and basically sit around on the beach and boat all day then dock together with oter boats and party at night...sounds tough huh? i sure hope they have a poop deck on this boat...
so we wont be e-mailing much during that time sorry
also- sorry we havent been responding to too many e-mails since we figure we could write more here in more detail than send individually-it is great to get your e-mails and dont feel bad if you dont get a response
so yesterday was a very tough day
we woke up at 11 am (we are logging in around 9-11 hours of sleep a night...nice!)
and what do you know but it was sunnny and warm
walked to the breakfast place with the nice lagoon for turkish breakfast which consists of bread (there is mass bread for every meal which is great for me since i could-and did-subsist on bread sandwiitches alone...mmm bread sandwitches-this is jer writing if you couldnt tell)
then went for a paddle boat for an hour around the lagoon and a swim...came back to our bungalow and rented beach chairs and unbrella and read (i aint no criminal) watched the turkey game (turkey lost bummer) then back to the beach to swim to cool off
ended the night drinking some wine on the porch of our bungalow...drinking out of the always classy water bottle cut in half (man i wish i had a coconut) and then played shithead with some brits and azzies...this seems to be how all our days have been going since getting to the coast...nice
and to top it all off-we made our best bargain so far with the paddle boat
the sign said 8 million for an hour and
we said the other place was 7.5 million and he said 6?
we said ok!
see those bargaining skills ...by the way 1 dollar us is 1.5 million
our typical bargaining style...is 'how much for that?'
they say 10 million
we say 'ok'
like for the boat full price is 85 lbs bout 130 US
we bargained them all the way down to 85 lbs
others got it for like 55 lbs but they just arent as good as us
but so far- the worst bargain was made by sarah who bargained a book down from 10 dollars all the way to 10 dollars when another guy in the park stared out about 1 dollar
nice
we just recharged the batteries on the digital so(borrowed a converter from another yank) we will let you know if we ever get them on the net
computers here are slower than josh getting ready to go out (yea in your face coye!)
we will tell you all about the boat trip in a 4 days
