Halifax is different. The main street has some independent coffee shops, awesome womyn's bookstore and there seems to be a good music scene here, although I didn't check out any live bands. The harbour-front is nice. This whole town has that salty ocean breeze and it is so foggy at night. Especially with the old Burying Grounds, an old graveyard dating back to the 1700's, it's like a happening ghost town.
Came over to do the 6-day Salty Bear tour.. which was awesome as tours go. When they said it was adventure travel they weren't kidding!
