Milan... Time for some R&R

Let's hope we can successfully navigate from MXP to central station to our hotel, for some sleep! Again... my obsessive planning came in handy. We hopped on the Malpensa Shuttle for 5 Euros a piece and took the 50 minute ride into the city. It dropped us about 20 yards from the front of our hotel.

The Starhotel Anderson is wonderful. It has a modern vibe with a clean and simple decor. For 100 Euros, we got a nice room with a king bed and a beautiful bathroom. We settled in and took a much needed shower.

Then we searched close by for some food and found a place that we thought looked good. Not so much - bland pasta sauces, rawish meats, and weird pizza. Sean was so looking forward to some delicious pizza. Oh well, at least the hotel was amazing.

That night we bought our train tickets for the next day and explored Central Station. I love train stations, they're so majestic! There were some shady people there late at night, but we were careful.

Then we turned in for a night of sleep... or so we thought. Sean woke up at 2:30 and couldn't fall back asleep. Periodically he would poke me and tell me one of his "amazing ideas" that he'd just thought of in the dark. He is bound to be exhausted tomorrow!
