This is the adventure capital of NZ apparently, however we'd pretty much done all our adventuring in the North Island already so we didn't get up to much. We went on the Huka Jet which is a Jet Propelled Speed boat. It's pretty fast and as you shoot through the narrow canyon just missing the rocks by a hairs breadth it's pretty exhilarating. Xmas was spent in the pub getting a traditional xmas dinner and presents from Santa. I got a mug, which I lost.
