This place was very empty.  The only people we saw were ourselves.  This point is where Germany, The Netherlands, and Belgium all meet.  The wind was still blowing, but it was tolerable.  We went to the first spot we saw, where the flags of each individual country was flying.  There really wasn't a specific point, but it was still nice to get a picture of it with me in the middle.  It was also only a couple of us, when we realized we were at the wrong spot.  So we went where we were supposed to go and got a picture of us standing in three different countries at once.

We also saw the highest point in the Netherlands, which was marked by a big concrete stone.  Then we wondered down a trail and found some grave stones.  We also noticed that the forest turned completely black at one point, so I took a picture of the "Black Forest" which was very creepy.

They had a piano there, and of course I can't pass up an opportunity to entertain

While we were here we were supposed to eat at a tavern.  Since we were all hungry we went to eat ahead of schedule.  The tavern was really rustic looking.  It reminded me of a log cabin.  We received free soup, coffee, and sandwiches.  The coffee was very strong, but the sandwiches were delicious.  I had a brie cheese sandwich and a ham sandwich.  We also had some mushroom soup.  I only ate it because there weren't any huge pieces of mushroom.

Since we were so early we just sat around and talked for hours.  It was really nice and relaxing.  Our bus driver even came in to eat with us and was telling us about all the good places to go and eat in Maastricht.  They had a piano there, and of course I can't pass up an opportunity to entertain.  So I played on that for a while too.

They also had a labyrinth, which was just a big maze.  It was really muddy so only a few kids did this.  Before we knew it, it was time to go to our last and final destination of the day...Germany.
