July 12th, 206 11:00 PM Cahors, Hotel De France

The further south we go, the hotter it gets. And it's so humid! We drove for about 9 hours today in the stinking heat, with not much food. We were all a bit grumpy by the time we got to the hotel. My clothes were soaked in sweat from just sitting in the car all day, and I actually had to wash them in the sink of my bathroom. I guess it's my first real experience roughing it. We ate a nice dinner, though, at a nice cafe down a back alley. It was the only thing open at 9 PM. Tomorrow, we're meeting up with the rest of the family! Hooray!
