So far, Langkawi is the trip I enjoyed the most in Malaysia. It is like a second version of Hawaii!
An hour ride by boat to Coral Island, you get to scuba dive or snorkel.
Another one hour ride, you could get to Penang, the Pearl of Orient (my hometown). Penang is famous for its cultural and historic places and the heavenly variety of delicious food.
So basically, it takes two hour boat ride from Penang to Langkawi. It's a great shopping venue as Langkawi is a duty free island.
