Well, after a long night of fabulous hosting where the beer glasses never ran dry, Kelsey and I got up at about 10am.  By the time we were up and ready to leave the house it was around 1pm.  We had decided to go to Luzern which is another mountain town in Switzerland known for its mountains and lakes.  We had decided that we would....well climb a mountain and we damn well intended on doing that.  After arriving at 3pm and spending 80 swiss franks on a train ticket to and from Luzern, we were informed that we were to late to climb the mountain.  The mountain wasn't going anywhere but they still wouldn't let us climb it.  Apparently you have to be there by 1:30 or something.  We settled for hiking around the town and climbing these sort of medieval structures.  We also found a bunch of oxen...funny considering my nickname is Ox...and of COURSE we took pictures.  We hiked around the town until it got dark and then we stopped for some food.  Shitty swiss food for too much money=stop for swiss chocolate.  The chocolate was more of a dinner than the cabbage and tough porkchop.  We headed back to Gossau on the train and intended on going out.  Again, our wonderful host already had the wine poured and dinner made.  He was half swiss, half spanish so we had a Spanish frattata...yum.  The next day we took a train, another train, and a bus to get to a mountain a little closer to Gossau.  We saw beautiful Swiss countryside that I would never have appreciated in the States.  We got to Mt. Sinis and since we didn't have ice picks we took a cable car up the mountain.  I am not afraid of heights but I am afraid of falling without a parachute.  Luckily the cable car did not snap and plunge me to my death, but rather brought us safely to the top of the mountain where we enjoyed VIP treatment as we were the only people there.  The wind and snow was so bad they had all of the observation decks closed.  A super great guy who happened to have the keys to the doors let Kels and I up there and it was amazing.  I know it sounds sappy, but you really cannot appreciate the beauty of something like that until you are actually there.  This fact however, did not stop me from taking pictures with an attempt to do it justice.
