the streets are sheets of glass

As the three inches of snow we had melts away and the freezing rain pellets down the danger increases. I seriously think i need metal hooks in my shoes to keep from flying across the ice. Sunday we had Sri Lanka day when we invited members of the community to come get a sample of Sri Lankan culture. I was in a drama about boys stealing hay from girls? or something along those lines and two group songs which i pleasantly mouthed the words to. we raised about $470 half of which will go to a charity in Neepawa and half in Matara. It was good fun and i got all dolled up in Sri Lankan gear. I wore a purple Sari for the songs and a green Chite (skirt sorta thing) for the drama. Thats abou tall i have to updae right now - well theres probably more but i forget. 32 days till Sri Lanka!
