I get to the airport early Tuesday morning because I’m not sure how long it will take me to check my bag and get through security with the new security measures that are currently in place. My 11:45AM flight was initially delayed due to mechanical problems, and eventually canceled. The earliest flight that American West could get me on to San Jose was at 9PM. So I proceeded to spend the last day of my ‘birthday extravaganza’ spending 12 hours in the Las Vegas airport with only a $10 voucher, which did not include alcohol by the way. I eventually got home at 11PM.
