We began the first lag of our journey in London, England where we got to ease into the whole 'backpacking' thing.  Staying with Ben Tottenham in a cozy little apartment while having a personal tour guide around the city is an excellent introduction to out trip.

There are many sites to see in London and we visited Buckingham palace, The science museum (LOTS of fun), Tate gallery, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Spidafield Market, drinks on the Thames river, lots of drinks at the scissor sister concert in Trafalger square, shopping on Bond St. where Hallie bought a new Louis Vuitton purse, Oxford st., Covent Garden. We are becoming very familar with the London Tube system....mind the gap and don't get your head stuck.

Prince William and Harry asked for our hands in marriage but we felt, after long consideration, that we would have to decline because we are too excited to eat belgium waffles in Brugges.
