We saw Mesa Verde on TV's 'Around The World In 80 Treasures' and knew we had to fit it in to our route. More ancient Indian settlements in the sheer canyon walls but on a huge scale. We join a ranger tour of two sites to get a closer look at Cliff Palace and Spruce House, as well as stopping off at overlooks to see some impressive views and old cliff-top pit dwellings.
