We were right about the catch and release program. Our 11 mile bus ride into Denali proved to be worthwhile even though we had to rise at 5:30 am. We saw 8 wolves and cubs, 6 grizzly bears with cubs, 1 moose, a herd of female caribou, Dall sheep and assorted fowl, including the Alaskan state bird, Willow Ptarmigan. The weather has been overcast and rainy so we have not viewed Mt. McKinley. Oh have we mentioned the mosquitoes, by far the most prolific wildlife by far. Susan mosquito net headdress did come in handy.
