Delos / Mykonos

just sit right back and you'll hear a tale...a tale of a fateful trip...yes, we decided to take a day cruise to delos and mykonos.  unfortunately for connie, this cruise ship was nowhere near as steady as the high-speed ferry that we rode from athens to naxos.  thanks to whoever invented the barf bag.  stein should be proud of chaffee...he was unphased even though he was surrounded by people barfing, burping, gagging, and barfing some more.  ;)  on delos, we saw the remains of ancient temples...it's a shame that so much was destroyed.  we had to get back on the vomit ship to get to mykonos (connie is such a trooper...no incidents this time though...it was a short trip between the islands). mykonos is definetely a tourist town, so we caught a bus to a nearby beach and cooled off in the water until the vomit ship was ready to take us back to naxos.
