Take a walk around Tombstone--a living museum of the old West. The famous Wyatt Earp gunfight took place here. Why the big gun battle? Nobody in the town could really explain to me exactly what happened--that's part of the fun. Apparentl Wyatt's gang were not any more saintly than the rival gang.
The setting of the town is great with lots of faux cowboys and a dirt main street with authentic buildings for three blocks. Allow a few hours to soak it in. The kids loved it.
