Today the weather was distinctly worse than yesterday, but it hasn’t rained as yet so at least I could wander around which was good. I walked around Chinatown and the Theatre District before walking over to Copley Square and the main shopping area. After browsing the shops, (I was more restrained today and didn’t buy anything), I stopped for some lunch – crab cakes which are a bit of a Boston speciality and were really good. It started to get really windy so I decided to head back towards my hotel before it started to rain through a park where some people were getting married. I watched that for a while and it was a shame they didn’t have better weather as it was a really lovely setting. There was a boating lake too with boats shaped like swans which people were peddling around – if it was nicer weather it would have been a fun thing to do, but all the people looked as though it was a lot of effort to navigate the lake in the windy weather! I then returned to my hotel as I have felt really sleepy all day and just relaxed and watched TV for the rest of the day. Nothing particularly interesting to be honest, but a nice chilled out day.
