We acutally stayed at a place called Mazunte which is just a couple of beaches down the road from Puerto Angel.

Anyway... On Wednesday we caught a bus from Puerto Escondido and it dropped us off in a town called Pochutla.  Then caught a taxi down to the beach called Mazunte. And then it all went bad from there.

We checked into a cabana, which was really basic and the toilets where really average and didnt really have any doors on them!!

After we checked in we went and got some fish for lunch, and if I out tickets inculded travelling back in time I would have stopped myself and gone and eaten some sand instead.  As 12 hours later in the middle of the night, my body without asking me decided that it didnt agree with the fish and wanted to get it out as fast as possible, anyway possible. Needless to say we didnt get much sleep that night!  And the fact that I felt like rolling over and dying!

In the morning it was Sarahs 23rd birthday, we went to find a nice place on the hill, which was mainly going to be for Sarahs birthday, but it just ended up being a place for me to hang out in the loo, wucked!

That day was a comedy of errors really.  The nice place that we were staying at had restuarant, however that night they didnt have a chef! So Sarah went and got some chips, and sweet bread... i had about 2 bites of the bread and then I saw it again!  That night I had pretty much gotten over it.

In the morning we went to have breakfast and luckly they had a chef today!  Well kind of, they only had a few things on the menu.  We asked for toast and jam, but they said they didnt have any bread,  but they could do some french toast??  right...  and then 20 mins later someone else got toast and jam!!  Good times!

After breakfast we caught a taxi back to Pochutla, and then at 730pm caught a 11 hour bus to San Cristolban.

San Cristolban is a pretty cool place,  and much colder than we had expected - well we didnt really know really. We have just checked into a hostel, which we are thinking of checking back out of as it a bit of a dodgy place!  Anyway you live and you learn!!

Our love to all!

Shaun and Sarah
