bring your raincoat to bergen

bergen is surrounded by 7 mountains. i took a cable car up the highest of the 7 mountains, mt ulriken (642m above sea level) but it started to rain the moment i stepped into the cable car. no i'm not a jinx but bergen rains on average 275 days a year so it's not me. so, instead of seeing `panoramic view of city and surrounding fjords', i was zipped up to the neck in my jacket, hood over my head, hugging my arms, shivering while i try to peep through the fog that was quickly thickening around the cable car. sigh~ but fortunately the sky cleared up after awhile and i did get a good view of the city on my way down. i do like the view of the many brightly-painted wooden houses all over the city and at the side of mountains. and the fjords...amazing.
