Silvia - Market Day

I decided to do a day trip to a small town outside of Popayan called Silvia. On Tuesdays there is a day market that brings out all of the igneous people from the area. As you can see from the photos they have a very unique style of dressing. Even the men are wearing skirts of some type.

I just walked around the market, bought an avocado, a pepper, some bread and a tomato. Then I sat in the square making a sandwich while all the local people stared make my improvised sandwich. One kid wanted to know what I called it. :)
