From A Trip To Bandung in Bandung, Indonesia on May 02 '08

Today is the last day we're in Bandung. Anyway, we still have a few hours before departing to the airport. So, what we did is just to linger around the hotel area. Being a normal woman, we cud still shop within a very limited time. We bought some imitation perfumes from the shop across the street. The perfumes are quite good actually, considering how cheap they are. Ain bought the most - for her mum's business actually. So, the rest of us just "tumpang"ing la......
Then we went to the outlet beside the hotel which I totally forgotten it's name. Ija & Ain were looking for an extra bag to put their excessive things...hehehe. Ain got he bag first. Then, while waiting for Ija to find her bag, the rest of us just sat there on the bench provided at the shop. After for about an hour of waiting, we still couldnt catch a gllimpse of Ija in the shop. That definately made us worry & confused. So, we started a search round for her.
As expected, everybody's baggage exceeded the allowable weight limit of 15 Kg

We become more worried when she's not even there in the shop. We've looked everywhere - including the toilets. All the negative thoughts started running into our minds but we still tried to stay calm & not to panic. Then, Carol & Farrah decided to check the hotel in case she went back to the room. To our relieve, she's indeed at the hotel. The funny thing thing she claimed that she've told me of her whereabouts when she was there with us in that outlet. I really, really dont remember that part. Seriously, it's just like having a memory lapse at that period of time. Anyway, i'm just glad & grateful nothing bad had happen to us during the entire trip.

Our flight back to KL is @ 1.00 pm. As expected, everybody's baggage exceeded the allowable weight limit of 15 Kg. So, we sit at one corner & started to distribute our stuffs from the baggage to our hand-carry bags so that we dont have to pay the excess luggage fee. Come to think of it, 15 kg is actually nothing. What can you bring with that much of weight?? Obviously, this is where Air Asia got their profit from.
Another thing that shocked us there is the airport tax that we've got to pay. They charged us Rp 60K for the airport tax. The thing is, we thought that the airport tax has been included in our air ticket since it is stated there in the statement. Since arguing with the airport authorities wont take us anywhere, we've decided to just pay the fees. Luckily, they accepted RM currency as we've ran out of Indonesian Rupiah already.

After checking in, we queued up at the gate's exit - knowing the seats are not pre-assigned. When it's time to board the ship, there're these few passengers who were flashing their ticket while saying "express boarding" & tried to get through the crowd. We got really pissed with this group of people & started making controversial gestures & remarks. We still bitchin about it in the flight & it surely makes us feel good doing that. It's always good being a bitch ( Babe In Total Control of Herself) !!
