Fort Lauderdale Living!

Ok so this is really not a trip, more like an introduction to who I am and where I live. Even though I live in South Florida right now, specifically in Fort Lauderdale, everyday is like a vacation. The culture here is amazing! Way different from the lifestyle I lead in Gainesville, FL as I attending the University of Florida.

Usually if you live in South Florida, you either love it or you hate it. I love it! I think if you were to travel to Florida on vacation, you definitely need to spend some time in Fort Lauderdale. The beaches are incredible, and the people are so nice. Don't get miss lead. I know many people probably think that those who live in South Florida are rude and cold. But I discovered the complete opposite. You just have to put yourself out there and talk to people.

If you have been to the South Florida area, what was your favorite thing to do or see?

I think in todays society, individuals are so afraid of talking to strangers. But I find thrill in talking to new and different people. Trust me, most likely the other person will be happy that you just said "Good Morning" or "Have a great day." I mean who would not?  My friends tease me about how I can just talk to strangers like it is nothing. But I feel that the worst that can happen is they shrug me off. But it hasn't happened yet.

So Fort Lauderdale is a place everyone should visit one day. And the best thing about it besides the beaches, people, and many attractions to see, Miami, FL is just about a 30 minute drive south. So if you want a great club life at night, South Beach is an amazing place to visit.

Take my word for it, South Florida is amazing! You just have to know where to look :)
