I almost cancelled the trip since Hurricane IKE did so much damage to my property so I arrived tired and stressed.  Upn arriving at the Hotel, I found a very gracious and competant staff. Unfortunately, the first room they put me into had a leak from the AC outside the bath.  They decided to move me into another room -- after I had unpacked, of course.  The grounds of the hotel are beautiful with three swimming pools -- a "sports" pool, a "quiet" pool and a "sexy" pool.  The latter pool and the beach are both "topless" optional.

The hotel has several restaurants, three of which are "fine" dining.  I have had dinner at two of them and have been impressed by both.  Breakfast and lunch are generally buffet type meals with far too many offerings.  I do not believe that I will go home weighing less than when I came.

The hotel is all inclusive with both food and drink being in plentiful supply.

The Spa facilities are outstanding.  However, the massuse I use in Houston is far superior to the one I had here.

Entertainment is constant -- especially in the "sexy" pool area where most of the crowd gravitates.  They also have very good late evening shows.  The one Saturday night offered acrobats, jugglers and dancers.
