India was an experience (to say the least).  Our driver was mental, whether it be arguing with armed guards at the Indira Ghandi monument, trying to pass us off as Indians to get into the sights cheaper (which actually worked once) or flashing his goverment pass in an attempt to claim a better parking space there was never a dull moment.  The guesthouse organised by Charu took extrememly good care of us.  We were ready to burst from the amount of lovely food they provided for us and they keep phoning our room to see if we wanted beer or whiskey or tea. Delhi was all hustle and bustle but the monuments were exceptionally peaceful, you couldn't even hear the constant blaring of horns from the manic streets.  It was a worthwhile experience but after a couple of manic days we were ready to move on.
