I was amazed when we were right on schedule on a Sunday morning, in spite of having stayed up late and having 3 small kids in the group. After a nice breakfast, we had a discussion on the plans for the day. After a drive past the South Beach we drove through downtown Miami to this majestic house and gardens called the Vizcaya. They place was really pretty, right on the water and very well maintained. The gardens were green and beautiful and the house itself had a lot of interesting stuff. Not the same old historical stuff you'd expect, there was a sort of a relaxed air to it.

A nice orchidarium lay behind the house, along with a cafe that had these awesome slices of cake. We found a lot of photo spots in the gardens and by ocean view. The kids of course had a totally great time running in the lawns. The grounds were also host to a bunch of professional photo-shoots going on.

I got this whole fish, deliciously cooked complete with the eyeball and everything

After a little snack at the cafe, we headed to have lunch at this highly recommended place, all the way back on Miami Beach. It was a Peruvian place called Chalan by the Beach and whatever we ordered there was fantastic. I got this whole fish, deliciously cooked complete with the eyeball and everything. The seafood curry was pretty good to.

I wanted to visit the everglades before we left, but there was only time enough to drive back to Orlando and then have a light dinner at home. Thats exactly what we did, started the 4 hour drive. It was a working day for everyone but Ekta and I, the next day. The both of us would head to Disney, the EPCOT park.
