Ein weiteres Highlight, wo wir drauf gespannt waren, war das Dorf Minyip mitten im Outback. In den 80er Jahren war dieser Ort Drehort der TV Serie "Die fliegenden Aerzte".

Wir kamen uns etwas fehl am Platz vor. Der Ort war sehr seltsam. Die meisten Laeden waren dicht und heruntergekommen und die ersten Menschen, die wir trafen waren nicht gerade die freundlichsten. Von den Gebaeuden aus der Serie waren nur noch vier uebrig. Wir haben in einem Pub zu Mittag gegessen und sind dann weiter. Trotz der Enttaeuschung, dass nicht mehr da war, waren wir froh, den Ort besucht zu haben.

Another highlight what we were waiting for was to visit Minyip the little town in the middle of the outback which was the film location in the 80s for the TV show "THE FLYING DOCTORS".

We thought we were wrong her. We had an eerie feeling. Most of the shops were closed and almost ruinous. There are only four buildings left from the TV show. We ate lunch in a pub und then left. In spite of we were a bit dissapointed that there was not a bit more we were still glad that we've been here.
