Vancouver via Dallas!

It took us a while to get to Vancouver, two days! Got stuck in Dallas overnight due to long queues at immigration. Still they put us up in a lovely hotel with dinner so we didn't complain too much except when we thought our luggage was lost.

Finally made it to Vancouver and as many had promised it was beautiful. We were staying out at Jericho Beach which was very calm and laid back. We managed to get to a KT Tunstall concert the first weekend and spent a few days discovering downtown and a few other neighbourhoods like Kits, near where we stayed. What more could you ask from a city... mountains, sea, woodland, islands and skiing almost on your doorstep. Spent a great day at Stanley Park and relaxed on Second Beach.  A really stunning city which was hard to leave and would make a super spot to live for a while.
