20 hours to go before we set off.

From Harmony EYC to Malta cruise in Kent, United Kingdom on May 27 '08

20 hours to go and there are still a few jobs to do. There are so many jobs that I would have liked to do before we leave but there just isn't the time and in any case you could go on and on. Still tomorrow there will be the whole crew to help do the final preparations before leaving. Complete the food shopping, fuel up, top up water supplies, and store all the food in every nook and cranny that we can find.

Still the hardest part has almost been done now,the rest can now be enjoyed.

The weather forecast does not appear to be too bad as you far as can rely on weather reports.

The first leg is between The Thames in London to Falmouth and that should take us about a week if the weather is ok. For the rest of the journey see the attached plan.

Well that's it, the next time I'll put an entry in is from the first port we stop at.

Glad you seem to doing well. By the look of the map you seem to have sailed in a dead straight line across France and Spain - must be a record. Wish I was in Air Conditioning so I could take so much time off in what must be the busiest part of the year. Let us know when you get there. Mike & Joy

Hi Jon. Got as far as Gibraltar by last Tuesday 24 June and am at home earning some money to pay for what we've spent so far !!! Left Harmony with the Crew who sailed off to Almiera on Friaday and should be due there this evening 28 June. I'm planning to meet them in Majorca next weekend and then on to Sardinia, Tunisia, Pentalleria, Gozo and finally Malta. (will also be updating the blog with some picies later on today) Godders.
