I sleep in until 10:30 am and then have some orange slices and the remaining runt ends of banana halves.  It isn't quite the breakfast of champions but it does resemble breakfast food, so I am happy.  I go to the mall and attempt to waste time there by perusing through Nike, Adidas and the other stores, but nothing interests me.I walk to the hostel and make sweet potato pasta with goat cheese, pesto, crushed almonds, spinach, and butter.  I then walk to the waterfront, up near Pioneer Square, and then through the Pike Place Market.  I am so bored!  How can this be?  I come back to the hostel at 4:32 pm and watch "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" on the large screen tv in the common room.  Then, when the hostel's free dinner is served I end up with a huge plate of veggie bean tacos...apparently I thought I was more hungry then I am.  I find that there is no way I can finish the food on my plate, so I force myself to dispose of it in the garbage.  At 8:30 pm I join the large group of people in the hostel heading to Gas Works Park to play capture the flag and hide and go seek.  Once we all get off the bus there, we find ourselves on the top of a hill with an incredible night time view of Seattle's myriad of lights.  Unfortunately, I didn't bring my camera (I didn't want to deal with it during the game).  I run through the mud, playing the game, bummed that we are playing without most of the rules I have grown accustomed to during years of childhood summer camp games.  There isn't even tagging when people are offsides.  How boring?!  I go back to the hostel with the group of people from Utah I met on Thursday night.  We watch the movie "Trans America" with two other people from the hostel and are surprised to find the rest of our capture the flag group joining us at the hostel 20 minutes later.  They had attempted to play another game after we left, but the Dutch guy broke two toes and a bone in his foot when he accidentally ran into a set of stairs (we were playing in the dark) so they came back early, with an icepack in tow.  I spend the majority of the night discussing differences between America and Europe, and it is not until 4 am that I realize I must head to bed.

I didn't come to Seattle for movie watching and game playing, but I don't mind that that is what I found.
