London overall is an amazing place! i was here once last year in May of 2007 with my best pal Janelle and it felt wonderful coming back. However, I wish it was under different circumstances.

I was supposed to leave MPLS on Jan 23rd at 1:30pm central standard time. However, the plane did not take off until 5:30 pm forcing me to miss my connection in Chicago to London and ultimately my connection from London to Cyprus. I arrived in Chicago and then took off for London at 9:30 pm. I arrived in London on Jan 24th at 10:30 am London time, which is six hours ahead of MPLS. So it was 4:30am in MPLS when I landed in London. I was set up in a hotel room close to the airport--thanks to my wonderful parents who set that up--and had my flight rerouted for Jan 25th flying out of London to Cyprus at 8:30am London time. I cannot wait to get to Cyprus and meet everyone! I wish I was there now with everyone! It has been one interesting and crazy day and I'm glad I made it through.

Oh and to top it off. I was picking up my luggage after being up for 24 straight hours and grabbed my first one and then saw another red one with my first name on it and grabbed it...turns out its not mine..and now i have to try and find mine tomorrow at the heathrow airport...and return someone else's luggage!!! oh god!!! haha it figures! so I'll deal with tomorrow...and hopefully arrive in Cyprus with my own luggage!

That was my first day of travel! oh boy! I absolutely cannot wait to see what the rest of the semester holds!
