2nd Las Vegas Trip

Having left Oklahoma City flew straight to Vegas I did however have to wait for about 6 hours at the airport due to the severe lack of flights from Oklahoma City. Oh well meant I had to have at least several drinks to pass the time. Oklahoma being SO big that there was only 1 (later found out 2) bars! So I made my self comfortable and did some work and watched the seconds tick by. Of course the plane was delayed as well so this meant a slightly longer wait but never mind more drinking and found the second bar.

Finally arrived in Vegas at midnight and met Sally at the airport, as ever lovely to see her. Went home had a quick glass of wine and then both passed out in bed, been very busy and very tired. Got up on Saturday morning and went to Blueberry Hill for breakfast. Had a nice “English” Breakfast, was much needed though. We then went home and spent the day relaxing until we went over to Eddie’s and Mike’s place for a party at their complex. What a place… owned by some rich guy that just throws parties because he can! Oh well free drink and food and some good entertainment. Stayed most of the evening and had a good few drinks and a good laugh. Went home and again hit the sack.

2nd Vegas

Sunday comes around all too quickly when we are together. So got up early, which is always good to make the day last longer, we then went to the IHOP (International House of Pancakes) for breakfast, another great breakfast. Went home to bed!! Just watched some films and relaxed. Finally got out of bed and went to a place for lunch – life is one big eating fest eating out. How very lucky we really are.

Again that time to go to the airport just comes around too quick. At least this time we know that we will se each other in a couple of weeks for Labor Day and for a few more nights as it is a holiday! Had a good flight back and slept all the way – thanks to a little help from Ambian. It is however the only time I have got on a plane and the captain has said it will be 4.17mins and I was not happy – definitely need more sleep than that! Oh well. Arrived back into Boston around 7 and headed straight to the office. Ended up out with the new guys and Matt and had a good laugh. One night at home and then off to Baltimore, MD for a few days, IT IS NON STOP, but ALL good…
