So, somehow my last entry didn't get posted. It was about church on Sunday, some sightseeing adventures, and our trip to Stonehenge and Bath. Stonehenge was so much cooler than we expected. We had heard that you could only see it from far away and you had to look through a fence. Well, apparently the person who shared that info considers 50 feet to be far and a rope suspended 18 inches off the ground to be a fence! We really enjoyed ourselves. It is truly amazing how much ingenuity God has blessed our species with!

The last few days have been a blur of excitement and adventure. The greatest discovery they we've made has to be the Science Museum. It has an interactive playroom for kids 3-6 where they can experiment with water, bulid with blocks, toss bean bags down a chute, and bang on all sorts of interesting objects. Ryan loves it. In fact, he woke up from his nap-in-a-stroller-while-we-checked-out-a-museum nap and promptly announced to the entire National Gallery, "I want to go to the Science Museum!" We've been two days in a row and may even go back tomorrow.

Another thing that really amazes me about travel is how often you run into people you know. At Les Miserables on Wednesday, we ran into a guy from New Harvest/VCI. His name is Chad, and he grew up in the church and used to intern with the youth group before going to Point Loma. He is here until December with a group studying art. We also ran into a guy named Will Rosenberg who used to be an R.A. Will has been traveling to world for the past three years and was here in England interning at Soul Survivor. Will and Dan (our Sociology professor) are both photographers, so the three of us went out last night and took some night shots around the city. They showed me some tricks with Shelley's camera, and I got some pretty amazing results. The night was capped off with a hot dog from a street vendor by our Underground station (w/ lots of onions, of course).

Tomorrow is our last full day in London and our last day with Lonnie and Midge. They have been great, taking Ryan for two evenings so Shelley and I could do some childless tourist things. We're starting out by heading to Notting Hill for its famous annual festival. It's advertised as "Carnival" (pronounced "Car-nee-vall" like in Brazil). Needless to say, it might be a little too crazy, and we may not stay too long. Then we head to Hamley's (a 7 story toy story) to celebrate Ryan's birthday. My evening concludes with a Chelsea football (pronounced "Soccer") match. I can't wait.
Then, on Sunday we bid fairwell to London and head on a bus, a ferry, and a train to Paris.
Will keep you up with the details as they happen. Love you all!
