The French Riviera was just a paradise! Such a beautiful area!

We arrived in the evening and stayed in a campsite in Antibes. There was a fair just down the street so two of the girls and I walked down and checked it out! We paid 4 euro to go on the ferris wheel, but it was worth it! It was actually a really long ride and we got to see a beautiful view of the city and coast. We also went on a spinny ride, but it turned out to be a bit too long as we stumbled on our walk home because we were just so dizzy!

That morning we were on our way into Nice. But on the way we stopped at a perfumery just outside. We were shown how they make all the perfumes and soaps and were given sample smells of their best scents. It was crazy expensive for the perfume so I opted for the much more affordable body lotion that smells just as wonderful! Then it was time for Nice. We walked along the coast, but opted not to lay on the beach all day as it was a rocky beach that did not look very comfortable to lay on and you had to pay like 15 euro or something just for a chair!! But oh my did the water look beautiful!! So instead we wandered the city and the shops of course! We had lunch at a really cute cafe with a great view of the water that had some really terrific food. We were really feeling the atmosphere of the place!

After some really great buys (everything in this part of Europe at this point of time just happens to be on sale, what good timing!) we went back to the campsite to make ourselves look pretty for our night on the town in Monaco. We were suppose to have 2 hours there, but due to traffic we ended up with only 45 minutes!! Most went into the Grand Casino that you have to pay 10 euro just to get in but I was not so keen on seeing the inside of this place! I'm really glad I made this choice because there was a festival on at this time and there was a killer fireworks show. Seriously, best I've ever seen!

This is one wonderful place for a relaxing vacation!
