The Pilot:
In which an exhausted girl from the sticks with a 34 lb. backpack finds herself in New York City; having so many options and so few plans, dowdy dress, under-managed hair and complexion and, though it is painful, not in the market for Steve Madden shoes.
I am having a wonderful time here. I adore this city. Staying in Astoria (Queens) with some dear friends from Whitman. I have been eating lots of good foriegn food and wandering blissfully around without agenda.
