Today we planned on going to see the castles over by Mittenwald, Oberamergau and Ettal.
We ending up visiting all the smaller towns and roaming around there for hours looking at all the fun shops.
I'll show you what it's like to be mean to an American....
There is so much to see and do in these touristy towns.

We did get to see one castle/church that the crazy King Ludwig built in Ettal. And it was free and opened longer than most things.
And beware, it seems that most shops are closed from Noon to 2:00 PM, I guess for lunch.
And we noticed that dogs run around freely over here!!!
The buildings are exquisite and very pretty.

The driver's over here are a bit crazy and drive very fast!!!!
If you go to Mittenwald first before heading over to the castles, remember that you may have to take a small, narrow road that costs 3 Euros to go on. It barely fits two cars wide.
Bicyclists are everywhere over here too and they ride on the road. They really don't seem to care about traffic.
And there seems to be an obession with painted cows!!!
Most people speak some English so you can get around pretty well, just look out for one of the ice cream shops. If you buy ice cream and go to sit down on one of the patio chairs they yell at you and tell you that your ice cream is take-out only!!!
I think it may be bad to be nice and let people cross the street by waving them on. I think I got the death stare from one person.
Otherwise learned a few things and I found those cool chocolate eggs with toys inside. SWEET!!!!
