Most tourists come to Nasca to look at the Nasca lines which are (i cant be bothered looking this up so I'm just gonna make some stuff up) massive pictures drawn into the desert by the Nasca people (much older than the Incas) by removing the upper layer of dirt/rocks to expose the lighter coloured soil below.  There are several pictures including a monkey, a hummingbird etc.. which are vary up to 100m in size, which is impressive as they obviously didn't have any planes to confirm what they were drawing was actually making sense....any way enough about the lines as we were too lazy and cheap to pay for the flight to go look at them, and settled for looking at a post card in one of the several thousand gift shops.

In the end we spent the whole day sitting around doing nothing waiting for our 8pm night bus to depart for Cusco.
