Mondello

Just a twenty minute bus ride out of town, is the beach community of Mondello, where the locals go to escape the heat of the city and get into the water.  Mondello has gorgeous caribbean blue water, that is so warm it is like getting into a bath tub.  It is also ideally suited for relaxing in that the shallow water extends far away from the beach.  It is very interesting, they have life guards both on the shore and on little flat row boats out in the water since it would take too long to get from the shore to a swimmer in need of help.  The beach also has a huge art deco bath house extending over the water.  It looks like something you would find in Miami Beach.  These days, it is  fancy restaurant with an incredible view. There are tons of gorgeous villas lining the street across from the beach.  I am ready to move in!!
