We left Herceg Novi for Budva. None too soon for me due to some over exposure at the beach. Our last day at the beach, there was an old man who kept whipping "it" out and urinating all over the place despite the fact he was 15 feet from the rest room. He did it every 2 minutes like clock work. It may be cute when you are two years old, but isn't so cute at age 78. And he wasn't peeing in corner, etc... right in the middle of the sidewalk, by someones beach chair, by the ladder to get into the sea, etc....
So, now I'm in a urine free zone!! Budva is very charming. It has a walled old town surrounded by beaches. The beaches here tend to be pebbles versus the cement/rock slab beaches of Herceg Novi.
Two words, "Nutella Crepes"
It has been hard to capture the charm and beauty of the city in pictures due to the haze in the air caused by fire in the mountains which I hope will clear soon. At night, the sight of the fire in the night sky is an awesome sight.

Budva appears to be the posh (spice) area on the coast of Montenegro. The Rolling Stones just had a concert here and the harbor is filled with big yachts and you even see the occasional Ferrari around town. There are tons of restaurants and cafes to spend your time away from the beach. They have the first McDonalds that I have seen in either Croatia or Montenegro, and it is an open air McDonalds. Very cool, but I hope to NOT eat there. They even have a Chinese and Mexican restaurant, which we have tried both, and they were both very good. The frozen Margarita at the Mexican restaurant was made with lemon juice instead of lime, but it was still very tasty - of course, I'm not sure I have ever had a Margarita that I did not like.

The people here are all so beautiful. Being a tourist city, they are primarily people from of course Montenegro, tons of Serbians and Russians. The women are all so tall and thin and are all so glamorous all the time despite the extreme heat. And the men..... I've never seen so many 6 packs outside of a 7-11. And they all eat pizza and ice cream. I HATE them - lol!!!!
Side note on the pizza, they put ketchup on their pizza. I tried it that way for the first time today. It was actually pretty good. But I think their spices in their ketchup is different from ours. I'm not sure how Heinz or Hunts ketchup would taste on a slice of Domino's pizza.
Montenegro does not get many English speaking tourist. So despite having plenty of American TV shows on their TV, when you speak to them, their first assumption is that you are from the UK.
The only negative I have is that almost everyone smokes here. Even the young kids.
Met a guy named Wolf on the beach (actually, it is what ever the Serbian word is for Wolf, but it is easier for me to call him Wolf). He was doing massages on the beach. He charges 15 Euros for an hour, what a bargain!! He is Serbian, and during off season, he works construction back home for 15 euros a day (around 20 dollars a day, working 12 to 14 hour days). He gets to keep 70% of what he makes on the beach. So, he can make a lot more here then back home. He is a very nice guy, escorted us to the bus station and made sure we got where we needed to go, etc. His dream since he was a little boy is to live in Ireland, but he says no one wants to give Serbians visas because their government is so crazy. Lets wish Wolf luck, he is a nice guy and deserves a break!
The Nutella Crepes (or pancakes as they call them here) are fabulous. No fat jokes when I get home please!!
