On the strip there is a shop for m and ms(chocolate) 4 stories high just for a m&m product, what the?We went to a Beyonce concert in the stadium in the hotel quite spectacular did nt know a lot of her songs but it was OK. At the end of the concert they direct all 17000 people thru the casino just in case they need to spend the odd dollar. We also saw Lance Burton a magician at the Monte Carlo who was good not as good as copperfield but good. We went to O which is a cirque de sol in water, absolutely spectacular,As usual we have no idea what the story is but some of the performers and their stunts were brilliant.

TV here is funny they must be hypochondriacs every ad is about prescription drugs for every ailment you can think of,one ad has a group singing "viva viagra" to the viva las vegas tune, all their prescription ads have about 20 seconds of disclaimers spoken at the end, the best one was for uncontrollable leg movement at night, here are some of the possible side effects from using their drug, nausea, dizziness, blurred vision increased sexual urges, constipation I reckon moving your legs in bed at night is better than the cure.

Greg and Jackie met up with a bloke they know who used to be in a Vegas show a version of the Australian chippendales so we had tea with him and his girlfriend who was performing in the Beatles show Love, very helpful about shows etc.
Greg and I went to an outdoor store, I thought a few tents bug spray etc, but no this outdoor shop sells boats bikes guns shoes clothes and more on about 6 acres for the shop and then its own casino and accommodation.
The weather is a dry heat and we have used the river pool every day,it winds around all of the pool area about 5 acres and has the water flowing to keep everyone going in the same direction.

We got the rain from cyclone Dean on the weekend and because there is so much crap in their drains it is instant flooding, cars being washed away and stuff it dries up as quick as it happens and Vegas continues. We went to Fremont street which is the old Vegas and it is obvious they need to bulldoze it and start again but all casinos are full and the people keep rolling in so why change it if it aint broke?
Any casino you are in if you are playing a machine the drinks are free,a waitress takes your order brings it back, you tip her a dollar , we drank a fair bit I think our free drinks ended up costing about $50 each nice work Vegas!

New casinos are constantly under construction with each new one trying to outdo the other with style and options,Planet Hollywood has just opened and is very nice with a mile of shops surrounding the casino/hotel.
We have had a hectic stay in Vegas but unfortunately we have to leave and head to LA for our last 3 days of our trip, very sad but we all are ready to see our families. We drove from Vegas to LA in about 5 hours and settle in to our final hotel. The next blog will be about our time in LA and unfortunately our last for this trip.
