Frank Sinatra said it best...if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.

We loved New York City!! It was fun, fast and hot. We saw everything we wanted to see in one day. We thoroughly conquered NYC. We rode a shuttle from our hotel to the airport, where we caught a bus into the city. From there, we jumped on the subway ("the train"), and headed to Ground Zero.

Ground Zero looks like a construction site. There are very few reminders of what actually stood there. They are building a new tower there, so there are no memorials, no flowers, no posters or mementos. And this is the one place in the whole city where there is absolutely no graffiti. Other than that, you don't feel the gravity you expected to feel.

From there we saw all the sights: Radio City Music Hall; Tiffany's; Macy's; Broadway; Times Square; Empire State Building; Chrysler Building; Rockefeller Center; NBC Studios; the Statue of Liberty; Central Park; and some guy who Jessie is CONVINCED is an actor. We'll post his picture here. Help us if you know him. Check out all the pictures from our day of fun!

Now it's on to Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame.

I'm looking up the actor. I definitely recognize him, he's mostly a character actor. Good spot, Jess! IMDb to the rescue.
