Well, Kids I no that i have not kept up with this journal. Although, I have kept a journal...so I will recreate my trip for you, which ought to be alot of fun....for me/

It all started in Charlotte,my old town,(had to go through there on my way to California, since i used some US Airways frequent flier mileage) after my great going away party in Kansas City...which I thank all of you that showed up...it was awesome/

After getting no sleep the entire night..was I wired or what!

I must of packed and repacked 4 or 5 times.

It is all good.

Well we got to NC, and my old roomate,Big Daddy(Darrell Davis), picked me up from the airport. I have found that it is sure nice to have contacts. There happened to be a Bid Music Festival in town, which the Rugby Club was working...So, i worked long enough to score some free tickets. this was goo, because it gave me an opportunity to see all the friends that I had made in the 15 years that I lived in Charlotte. We ended up getting a room at the Holiday Inn....Bid Jed Dunham came to town and Old Tommy Wilkison hung around, needless to say, we had a good time. They are some good old boys, as we say in the South. I believe that I spent a total of 4 days in NC...and my friend John Cyrill came up from SC.(South Carolina, I met John in my very first week in Charlotte...July 1985...we have stayed in touch ever since! Amazing.), with his girl Julie to join in the fun...as I said it is AllGood. I had a chance to see my friend and brother Eric and say goodbye to my old buddy, MR. Jones.

After the 4 days of smoking and drinking, I thought that I needed a break...the fun was only beginning, as I was off to LA...first class I might add..mize well use up those frequent flier points, who knows how long these companies may be in business. It was a great feeling to unhook the old cellphone and throw it in a box, that I sent back to Kansas. I think that I have had a cellphone since the old days at Vermeer, 1987, that`s along time. So good bye NC...hear we comme California
