Warm weather, lots of sand... this is real desert, not the stuff I saw in Iraq.
This place is a lot of fun, kind of like, you get to experience the "deployed", desert life without actually having to worry about losing life and/or limb. Parties all over the place. People get to go off into Doha if the desire hits them.
