Valencia is still great. We have met dozens of people now. Today we woke up late and had breakfast around 1 PM. At 3 or so we and three others decided to walk to the famous museum and oceanogphic place. We can't afford the admission of 28 euros, but we wanted to see the buildings.

We walked there through the park that is built in the old dried up river. It was a huge river, about 100 metres wide. The park winds all the way through the city exactly as the river did. Not to sure what happened to the river.

On the way, we happened upon a massive "Guliver". You know, the giant that they tied down. He is here in fiberglass form. All of the things that drape off of him are slides. It is cooooo. The dark areas of gulliver are very hot in the sun. We had a blast, Ashley (Aussie guy) burned his feet.

We then sat in the shade and recovered. You are not meant to exert so much energy in this heat.

We then started off towards our destination again. We found a little cafe in the park, sat and had coffee.

More of them. This is as far as we got.

Started off again and finally arrived there two hours after beginning the journey (15 minute walk). These buildings are incredible! They are pure art. The photos will speak millions of words. Can't describe it.

After lounging around we headed back. On the way home we decided that we would make dinner together. All 5 of us went to the grocery store and bought chorizo, bread, pasta, water, 24 beers, 2 $0.65 bottles of wine, all for 16 euros. The beers came to about 40 cents each.

Look at the prices for wine.

We cooked up a huge pasta with chicken, chorizo, bacon, onions, garlic, red pepper.

After, we went out and watched Flaminco, INCREDIBLE! If you have ever seen real live flaminco with the singing and guitar and lots of dancing, you are a very lucky person. We have video and photos from someone elses camera that I will try to post today.

Then we went out and had more drinks. Got home around 3 AM.
