Only had a fleeting stay in Philly- got in at about 9pm on Wednesday so went straight to the hostel, then dropped our bags off at the station in the morning and headed into town for a few hours.
Still managed to see a lot... you can do the whole liberty bell declaration of independence thing in a couple of hours, getting 'inspired and challeged' by a big bell with a crack in it. Then you get a little purple bus for $1 which takes you all around the city, including the steps from Rocky (see action-photos)

pretty amazing city- certainly more relaxed than NY but amazing weather helped to make it a really good day- headed back to the station at 6 and on to Washington DC...
