First stop, Sanur

When I arrived in Bali, on Tuesday 25th, Jenn met me at the airport and took me to Sanur where we had accomodation in a place called Watering Hole 2. The people looking after the place were friendly and helpful. The rooms were simple, functional and attractive as well as being very cheap.

We chilled on the beach and sank a cool Bintang (the local beer) before showering and heading out for dinner.

The restaurant we ate at would be exclusive and expensive in London, but here in Sanur it was excellent and cheap. I wish I could remember the name of it!

The next day the three of us headed to Waterbom, the water park in Kuta. It was a lot of fun, making us feel like kids again for a while. The water was refreshing in the heat.

On Thursday we hopped on a boat on Sanur beach and headed for Nusa Lembongan, a small island about 90 mins off the east cost.
