Sun, sand and...snorkelling?

Well after making my way back to Bangkok and spending 2 days catching up, booking my diving and doing some shopping, i have made it to Koh Tao, or the turtle island, as it means in english.  Have booked to do a 4 day PADI open water certificate.  I got on a overnight bus last night, and then a boat this morning, arriving at the island for 10am.  I was suprisingly fresh because i had no one sitting next to me on the bus so had stretched out all over and managed to sleep.

Island is beautiful, really mountainous up to, lots of rocks and gorgeous beaches.  The sea is tropical green aswell!!! (And there are fish!!) Start my diving course tomorrow, am excited but a little nervous about it all...we dive with barracudas and sharks (but theyre only small harmless ones so im more worried about the barracudas and sea snakes!!) Room is nice, big double bed, and really peaceful, 1 min walk to the beach.

Am going to go out tonight and meet up with some english girls that were one the same bus and boat and chill on the beach by a bonfire..*i hope*
