la jolla cove birthday

well, im back after my fabulous weekend away. jon took me to a place near san diego called "la jolla cove". we stayed in the penthouse on the top floor of a hotel just a block away from the ocean! we could see the ocean from our private balcony! it rocked.

we did so many cool things together, and it was so romantic! we walked around the beach a lot. those huge waves are fascinating!! we had a drink at a bar on my birthday. we went to many record stores, where i bought a TON of new music!! we walked around this cute little shopping district of la jolla, where jon bought me some yummy victoria secret smellies. we went shopping and had food in the "hillcrest" district of san diego (thats the gay dist). we had really good food too the whole time. it was nice going off of our diets for a bit and enjoying the yummy stuff. yesterday we went to an aquarium in la jolla. they had some really cool sea creatures. we also went to mission beach and rented paddle boats, rode the rollercoaster, and ate really good pizza slices and ice cream! it was so romantic. we had such a good time!!
